Fan Film Podcast - Episode 42

The Flash first appeared in the Golden Age Flash Comics #1, January of 1940, from All-American Publications, one of three companies that would eventually merge to form DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, this Flash was Jay Garrick, a college student who gained his speed through the inhalation of hard water vapors, wearing a winged metal helmet reminiscent of the mythological Greek god Hermes. Through the years three other Speedsters would take on the mantle; Barry Allen, Wally West, and Bart Allen.
Jason Damian from Influence Films uses the Wally West version of the Flash character for his first foray into fandom filming with "The Flash: Crossover". The film also has Harley Quinn and Talia al Ghul making an unprecedented alliance. When every other fan film is based on the Star Wars or Batman mythos it’s refreshing to see another of DC’s giants make it into live action.
We talk to Jason this week about his DC character offering as well as his upcoming Mortal Kombat film, "The Tobias Diamond".
NEXT WEEK: Marc Kimball does we he loves for a living and loves what he does for play. We’ll talk to Marc about his classic Superman fan film as well as his other offerings. Make sure you check out his site at Star Ranger 7.com.

Oooh, nice words! I'll comment too. Thanks, guys!
Thanks for posting in Amanda. Of course Amanda played Harley Quinn in the film.
I just had the chance to listen to this, and it's great! Not because you guys said really nice things about me, but it's entertaining and I laughed out loud! You guys do a great job, can't wait to talk soon.
